SDI Statement of Quality Policy
Customer Satisfaction is the most important element in the success of SDI. Efficient manufacture of High Quality Products and On Time Delivery, through Continuous Improvement, will ensure Customer Satisfaction. Continuous Improvement of our processes will be achieved through knowledge, commitment and Teamwork of all SDI employees.
All of SDI’s business segments are managed with the same objective…complete customer satisfaction. The Statement of Quality Policy developed and embraced by all SDI employees is clear in its message regarding customer satisfaction.
The Quality Management System (QMS) developed by SDI is designed to fully understand all of the customer requirements, and through the use of Customer Oriented processes (COPS) and Support Processes (SOPS), provide what the customer expects for quality, reliability and delivery. This results in complete customer satisfaction.
The Automotive facilities in Mesa, AZ. and Thailand are registered to the ISO/TS-16949:2009 Quality Management System Standard required for all suppliers in the automotive industry.
The new facility in Thailand was recently audited to ISO-9001:2000 and has been recommended for registration. Once the Thailand facility has been in production for a year, the registration will be upgraded to ISO/TS-16949:2002.
SDI is always striving for continual improvement. Through the use of Six Sigma methodologies and lean manufacturing processes, these improvements continue to align SDI with the very competitive markets we serve.
